Enchanted Brides 8

To ease you into September, and to reassure you that the summer need not be over just yet, here’s a gorgeous, gorgeous bridal inspiration shoot from Enchanted Brides. It was wonderful Claire from Rosey Posey Creations who gave me the heads up on this as it features her beautiful floral headbands.

Not terribly brilliant at naming bridal shoot looks, I want to call this modern rustic. More woodland nymph than anything else, it has touches of pagan, what with the antlers, and of magical faerie tales when you see the brides all frolicking in the woods. I even get a Summerisle vibe, but a nice one where they had a kindly leader and not a weird one who meant all sorts of naughtiness and harm.

If you’re a largely classic bride in your style, but you want to inject a shot of alternative interest into your look, you could absolutely look to this set of photos for your solution. There are the floral headpieces that are so on trend among brides at the moment, there are the origami roses, and there are the muted and darker tones of some of the bouquet flowers. There’s a lovely mix of classic and non-traditional here for brides who want something a little different from full-on traditional, but not so ‘way out’ that it’s no longer them.
