Floral -1-5

Oh, how I love this floral bridal shoot by one of my absolute favourite photographers, Jo of Enchanted Brides Photography. All those colours just exploding about the place!

I think this would be a really lovely idea for a post-wedding shoot, where rather than trash your dress, you can get your avant garde on and create some art. Imagine this on your wall! You would be feeling beautiful every time you passed a picture like this!

Andrea of Locks and Lashes told me how she made the frame at home and then added the flowers on site just before the shoot, adding “it was huge, bless Liza-Anne, she coped very well!” I am totally in love with this headpiece. It makes me think of Frida Kahlo, or an extravagant cabaret star. It’s attention-grabbing, but in a really beautiful way.

The make-up, by Katherine Rowe, is elegant and has gorgeous stains and tints rather than an obvious ‘my face is made up’ look, all of which echoes and complements the natural beauty of flowers.

So, what do you think? Would you have a post-wedding shoot where you could add crazy details to your wedding day look and come away with some stunning, arty portraits? I know I would!!
