Brides-to-be in Edinburgh, what are you doing with your Saturday mornings? I think you should be clearing out your diary for this little beaut of a course. It’s the Contemporary Embroidery Workshop with leading accessories designer Chloe Patience of Bebaroque (makers of utterly fabulous embellished hosiery), to create your own bejeweled, embroidered motif, using embellishment techniques practised within the fashion industry.
Basically, you learn how to securely and professionally sew beads and sequins to make a design that can be applied to any item of your choice such as a tight, coat, bag or cushion. I can see Way Out Wedding ladies making some gorgeous embellished tights to go with their alternative dresses!
It’s suitable for beginners and semi-experienced sewers, so no excuses for the uninitiated. If you’ve been watching your Project Runway and Sewing Bee and wished you could get making, well this is for you. And it could be your something old and your something new. Go, get booking!!
