A date for the diary for those of you in and around travelling distance of Glasgow on August 9! An alternative wedding fair hurray!! Plus the door fee goes to a local women’s charity, so there’s really no reason to not pop along for wedding goodness, cake, and lots of good will.
The Wonderland Wedding Fayre girls, Katie Malcolmson and Louisa Wood, wanted to create a quirky wedding fayre with lots of fun elements and colour, feeling this was missing in Glasgow.
“We have previous experience styling bridal photoshoots and working at local wedding fayres, as Louisa runs her own bespoke handmade bridal jewellery and accessories business, Eala Jewellery. We’ve handpicked our suppliers and really thought about what new ideas we could bring to the wedding fayre event. Expect something a bit different with lots of fun interior decoration, hand made details and lots of cake! We’ve involved our exhibitors in the making of this wedding fayre, which gives our brides reals examples of their work, so one of our stationers designed our flyers, one of the photographers took our promotion images, and the cake designers are making cake for the afternoon tea.
“There will also be a bridal catwalk and live music featuring covers bands, vocalists, bagpipers, and a performance from a dancing instructor who provides lessons for first dance routines.
“We wanted to organise an event that we were passionate about, and also one that could raise money for a local charity. Supporting local charity is very important to us as both of us work in intensive care as nurses. The wedding fayre is £2 entry on the door, and this will be donated to Glasgow Women’s Aid.
“We look forward to meeting all our lovely customers and beautiful brides-to-be!”
