I think there’s magic in these images from Susannah DeAngelo. The quality of the dawn light lends a beautiful bluishness to the whites of the dress and veil, and sets a very atmospheric tone. And as the sun rises, we see pinkier tones and a joyous feel builds up. I do think this would be well worth creating as a ‘rock the dress’ shoot after your wedding day!
The Story of the Shoot
“The shoot took place on the banks of the Snake River at sunrise. We were inspired by the idea of an intimate sunrise elopement, infused with the delicate purple hues of twilight.
“With only one very trusted bridesmaid as a witness, and candles hanging in the trees, our couple starts their lives together with all the hope and joy of a new dawn.
“With its being very simple and DIY, this shoot will appeal to a young audience with a small budget, whose hearts are full of romance and adventure.”
