Two wedding industry designers I have loved featuring on the blog, and following on social media for a daily hit of bridal beauty, are Flossy & Dossy and Modiste. When I heard they’d teamed up to make a luxe lingerie range, I was all eyes and ears! And it is a complete hit for me with its sultry shapes, assertive colour palettes and patterns alongside more delicate pieces. There’s a beautiful flow to the range. From a personal point of view as someone who is devoid of a good rack but curvy everywhere else with a bit of weight gain, these are the cuts and designs I scout for in order to feel feminine. I think my favourite piece is the black lacy camisole – I know for a fact I would feel like a babe in that set because the top skims rather than clings, which is so flattering to smaller busts. And it isn’t about making you look like you have bigger ones, but rather shows what you have as beautiful.
In fact, this aspect of body confidence and individuality is the mainstay of the brand’s drive:
“For the confident, flirtatious and effortlessly sexy, without size prejudice.”
Designers Wendy Harman and Natasha Hutchison tell me that Loveluxe Lingerie is inspired by the modern day muse and pop culture stories of lovers. All pieces are designed and handmade in the UK, with playful silhouettes, luxury fabrics and couture finishes trimmed with a little glitter dust. And, lovers of bespoke, Lovedeluxe Lingerie encourages the desire for individual and personal touches on request.
Are you shopping for your wedding day/honeymoon lingerie? Which of these would you choose? Let me know!
