“SHE WALKS IN BEAUTY, LIKE THE NIGHT OF CLOUDLESS CLIMES AND STARRY SKIES…”
Being a big fan of the gothic styled shoot, this here made me sit up and pay attention. It’s set in a disused church for major atmosphere, and showcases beautiful black wedding dresses from Legend Bridal Designs, a label perfect for gothic and alternative brides, all through the lens of ZT Photography. There’s drama and there’s a healthy to generic cialis dose of eerie in some of the images here, particularly the one below, which is my favourite. A dark bride, indeed…
The Story of the Shoot by Legend Bridal Designs
“Our aim was to embrace the dark side so many of our brides love; to unleash our love for the mysterious and let loose with our love of black. We have always been drawn to this dark side, and more often than not find we end up curbing our ideas. We have found, however, that more and more brides are contacting us asking for a darker aesthetic, so we felt it was time we let our gothic flag fly.
“We had been talking with Zo and Liam at ZT Photography for some time about a truly Goth styled shoot and couldn’t wait for the days to get shorter and nights to draw close so we could put our plans into action. We took our favourite (and equally artistically inclined) wedding suppliers to a disused church and danced with excitement in the shadows while Zo and Liam worked their magic and made our models shine…and levitate!
“We created four very different and equally dramatic gowns; two softer with a darkly vintage feel and two edgier, rockier dresses. It was important for us to show that black wedding dresses can be as varied as ivory and equally as elegant and beautiful. Our vintage-feel dresses were created using flowing chiffon, delicate lace, frothy tulle and intricate beading. Our edgier gowns combined corsets and more princess silhouettes with spikes and crystals, chains and high-low hems.”
