It’s a nice day for a…very contemporary, colourful, cool AF, white wedding (inspiration shoot). Now that I’ve finished butchering Billy’s absolute classic, I can make it up to you by introducing you to this incredibleness. Whatever plans you previously had for your big day, I feel some of them will be getting replaced when you’re done here. Still, it’s a nice day to start again… (I’ve stopped now.)

Glasgow Brewery Wedding Inspiration Shoot Scottish Bride

“‘Glasgow’s Miles Better… People Make Glasgow… you get the idea, I love me some Glasgow!” said Cat of Love Cat D Weddings and Events, planner and stylist of the shoot. “It’s such vibrant city, bursting to the brim with so much talent, especially in the wedding industry (full disclosure – I’m a bit biased!). This was one of my biggest reasons for pulling together this shoot – to show couples how they should have fun with their wedding and not be scared to create something truly unique!”

“The venue, WEST on the Green, is a fully working brewery, bar and restaurant, and a perfect alternative wedding venue for couples looking for an urban setting for their big day. Based within the iconic Templeton Building on Glasgow Green, it boasts loads of fantastic locations to photograph… so much so, our amazing photographer Fiona Higgins was spoilt for choice, as you can see!”

“Within the brewery are some large copper kettles, and inspiration from these is evident throughout the shoot, from the concrete and copper candle holders to the stationery, from the jewellery to the glasses, and even the cake has some copper splatter detail.”

A Curious Arrangement created the most wonderfully pretty and moody floral installations and that massive bouquet… well it’s utterly fabulous isn’t it??”

“The awesome Frill Factory, with its one-of-a-kind frilly backdrops and wicker furniture, really created the fun factor with the styling. The pink pineapples on sticks is a personal favourite!”

“I’m a massive fan of bridal couture designer Flossy & Dossy and knew right from the start I wanted to include Wendy’s gorgeous dresses in the shoot. I selected two designs from her recent New Wave collection, aimed at brides wanting a more pared-back look. With glowing make-up and a fabulous up-do by the wonderful Fiona Park and Cameo Bridal Styling, our bride’s overall look was unfussy, carefree and fun – no veil needed for our city-loving bride!”

“To complement our modern bride, it was important to ensure our groom looked the part, and bespoke tailor Ten30 was the obvious choice for this, offering contemporary styling for gents who want something special for their big day. It’s just as much about the groom as it is the bride!”

Daisy Bisley‘s bespoke signage and fantastic lettering design on the leather jacket pulled together the urban style. And in Scotland you can never be too careful when it comes to the weather, so Brolly Bucket umbrellas were on hand if needed!”

We at Way Out Wedding couldn’t love this shoot more. It’s so beautiful, modern, and filled with doable inspiration for you guys. Are we dreaming? <3
