Oh, summer 2018, you came along all intense and you stayed aaaages even though we all complained. And now you’re gone, we kinda miss you… We will revisit this pattern next year, yes? In the meantime, let’s hold autumn at arm’s length with one last hurrah into sunny times courtesy of this amazing shoot from Jessica of Twin Flame Wedding Styling and her crack team of creatives – some of whom you’ll see are in our very own directory of cool UK wedding suppliers The WOW Edit!

Jessica explained the story behind these beautiful images filled with neons, colour pops, crystals, punchy florals, greenery and FUN…

“The shoot is entitled ‘Peach Tropics’ and the brief was rooted in this concept. Amongst the peachy and vibrant colours of the tropical flowers, pillar candles and hibiscus flower stationery, were real pineapples (painted by hand in a variety of colours) leafy green glasses, recyclable ombré cutlery and a bar area complete with a pink inflatable throne! This was complemented by peach and turquoise hand dip-dyed dresses from Lucy Can’t Dance, lots of fun neon lighting, tasseled photo booth area and multi-coloured confetti balloons (which our couple really enjoyed popping!).”

“Twin Flame stands for fun, vibrancy, diversity and aims to create beautiful, ethical and memorable weddings that have a spiritual twist!”

“As well as styling, I also specialise in using crystals and crystal energy, and so, to make the shoot even more unique, this is what I made sure I included. To achieve the fun but spiritual and ethereal atmosphere I wanted inside the barn, I accompanied our vegan wedding cake by Tiny Sarah’s Cakes with glowing Himalayan salt lamps. This really lit up the gold leaf on the cake and the dark barn walls beautifully. As well as this, I showcased Twin Flame’s ability to provide unique crystal wedding favours. I used chunks of raw rose quartz on the place settings, all sustainably sourced, to tie in with the lamps and the peachy colours of the table.”
