When you come to Way Out Wedding, it’s because you’re not feeling the whole ‘wedding tradition’ thing too much, and instead you have mad love for the edgy, the unexpected, and the heart-in-mouth stylishness of an altogether more fashion-led vibe.

Today’s styled shoot called ‘Take Me To Church’ hits the spot on all these things, grabs you by the hand and rushes you into a world where tradition doesn’t dare set foot.

Sought after leading wedding designer and stylist, Pamella Dunn tells us all about how the shoot came about…

“The brief was a little bit luxe, a little bit edgy, and a lot of fun. Right now northern brides and grooms are searching for achingly cool, alternative wedding venues, and want to see vendors who get that fashion led feel. With this in mind, The Wedding Business Agency smashed the editorial vibe with a truly epic team. It’s too amazing to explain how the freedom to create incredible imagery gets the creative juices flowing. Add to that the talented vendors, flying the flag for trail-blazing style and one of a kind designs, well we knew we were guaranteed incredible images.”

“Models Christy and Will rocked the after party fun in front of the camera, whilst, Tim Dunk smashed the shooting. Isn’t it what the modern couple wants from a wedding photographer for those moments to be captured as they happen, the crazy fun stuff frozen in time, all the amazing memories documented of a day you’ll never forget? There’s no dispute this guy can deliver on all this.”

“Getting the two cool cats camera ready was the ridiculously talented pro make-up artist Danni, whose experience and skill never fails to thrill. We’re talking catwalk drama, stage and screen special effects, and timeless glamour; she’s in demand and it’s easy to understand why. Working with creative hairstylist Sam, together they made the vision a reality. Fuelled by passion, Sam created wedding hair masterpieces with ease, and a look that lasted all day, even surviving the backstage antics.”

“Love is for the courageous, the eternally unique, and when the search for a wedding day wardrobe feels hopeless you know Drunk In Love Couture is your saviour. And because there are no real boundaries, I mixed it up with couture and high street, as Will smashed the groom look with a Next pink suit.”

“Now we need to talk venue. Full of urban cool style, and what Leeds has been crying out for, Church has a unique atmosphere, a late licence and a serious city chic vibe. Drawing parallels with London’s coolest industrial wedding venue spaces, Church has opened its diary for selected 2019 dates. And Leeds, with its cosmopolitan energy and vibrant city culture, celebrates this refreshing new venue that fits perfectly in the heart of any design led city.”

“Inspired by the amazing spaces, wall art, neon and stained glass windows, the floral designers went wild with large scale installations, lush foliage garlands, and a bouquet to die for. Daisy Chain florists really know how to make an impact and where. And the same can be said for the inspirational cake designer Nice Icing; it’s wedding cake but not as you know it! Exquisite detailing and artistic design make these highly desirable cake creations almost too good to eat. Almost.”

“Honestly this shoot has it all if you’re brave, bold, loved-up party people with style.”
